Call for Youth Participants: GGD Youth Voice
 
The People and Global Business Association (P&GBA) and APA Academy invite middle and high school students, as well as out-of-school youth of the equivalent age, from Korea and abroad to participate in GGD Youth Voice, a youth initiative of the Global Great Debate (GGD), an official program of the 7th World Conference on Business and Management (WCBM 2026).
Participants are invited to submit a written statement and presentation video in English expressing their views on technology, ethics, education, work, management, and the future of humanity in the age of artificial intelligence. Students who advance through the preliminary round will participate in the WCBM GGD as youth delegates and engage in English-language discussions with professors, researchers, business leaders, and other experts.

Eligibility
  • Middle and high school students in Korea and abroad
  • Students attending international schools, foreign schools, or alternative schools
  • Homeschooled students
  • Out-of-school youth of the equivalent middle or high school age
Students may participate individually regardless of nationality or school type.
Participation Fee: Free of Charge

 
Suggested Areas of Discussion
  • AI and the future of humanity
  • AI ethics and responsible use
  • The impact of AI on education, work, and society
  • Human-centered technology and management
  • Sustainability and social responsibility in the AI era
Participants may freely select a specific topic related to one or more of the areas above.

 
Required Submission Materials

1. Written Statement in English
  • Approximately 90 seconds in spoken length
  • Approximately one A4 page and no more than two pages
  • Must include the participant's main argument, supporting reasons, and proposed ideas or solutions
2. Presentation Video in English
  • Approximately 90 seconds in length
  • The participant must deliver the presentation in English
  • The participant's face and voice must be clearly identifiable

Evaluation Criteria
  • Relevance to the official GGD theme
  • Originality and logical structure of the participant's views
  • Appropriate use of reasons, evidence, and examples
  • Consideration of human-centered values and social issues
  • Clarity of communication in English
  • Potential to contribute meaningfully to discussions with experts
The evaluation will place greater emphasis on the participant's ideas, perspectives, and logical communication than on native-level pronunciation or fluency in English.

 
Preliminary Selection Round
  • Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
  • Venue: Sejong University, Seoul, Republic of Korea
  • Official Language: English
  • Format: Individual English presentation followed by questions from the evaluation panel
Participants in the on-site preliminary round will be selected through an initial review of the submitted materials. Detailed schedules and presentation order will be provided individually to selected participants.
All students who complete both the presentation and question-and-answer session during the preliminary round will receive the following certificate:

Selection of GGD Youth Delegates

Students who successfully advance through the preliminary round will be appointed as:
GGD Youth Delegate
The selected youth delegates will participate in the following official program:
  • Program: WCBM 2026 Global Great Debate
  • Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026
  • Venue: Gwanggaeto Hall, Sejong University, Seoul
  • Official Language: English
  • Format: On-site public discussion
GGD Youth Delegates will present their views and engage in discussions on AI and the future of humanity with professors, researchers, business leaders, and other experts.
 
 
A student who presents an especially original and constructive perspective and makes a meaningful contribution to the Global Great Debate may receive the following award presented by the President of the People and Global Business Association (P&GBA), the host organization of WCBM:

Important Notes
  • All written statements and presentations must be based on the participant's own ideas.
  • Submissions consisting of AI-generated scripts without meaningful review and revision by the participant will not be accepted.
  • Videos in which an AI-generated voice or avatar presents on behalf of the participant will not be accepted.
  • Submissions may be excluded from evaluation if they contain false information, plagiarism, discriminatory content, or direct promotion of a particular company, product, or service.
  • Parental or legal guardian consent is required to participate in both the preliminary round and the main GGD program.
  • Applications with missing required materials or signatures may be considered incomplete.
  • Submitted materials will not be returned, and selection results will be provided individually.
